Robert Van-Liew (born June 7, 1985), better known by his stage name DJ DX, is an American rapper, turntablist, singer, songwriter, and record producer, born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey. Van-Liew started out as a blend mix tape DJ in 1998 but eventually became a full-fledged songwriter and rapper in 2011. ==Career== He started as a DJ and eventually began rapping, talking about his childhood. While things are better now, this period of his life inspired his latest release, a concept album called "The Unfortunate Child." "He sees everything around him...his parents are going through horror and everything around him is sad. He has a smile on his face, but he's sad inside." Some of his favorite tunes include "Shot Down," a reggae-infused track about "major cities in America where minorities are killing each other and the government is not doing anything about it," and "Many Dreams," a personal retrospective. The entire album mixes modern beats with more classical sounds. "I like the pure sound of the guitar, the piano, the saxophone, anything jazzy...for some reason it touches my soul quick," he said. "I don't sound like anybody that's out right now." By reflecting on his past, DJ DX hopes to change the childhoods of his own kids, Niveon, 6, and Ra-iyania, 11. "I try to set an example for them by doing something positive and productive," he said. "I tell them to be something better than what I am." 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「DJ DX」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
